PRETTY WITH THE LIGHTS OUT Metal-infused horrorpunk | Phoenix, AZ (formerly Indianapolis, IN) For fans of: Wednesday 13, Murderdolls, Misfits, Blitzkid, GWAR Booking: info@prettywiththelightsout.com | prettywiththelightsout.com SHORT BIO Pretty With The Lights Out is horrorpunk with a dash of metal, from the mind of Nate Laff (yep, pronounced like laugh). Monster movies, drive-in slashers, Halloween and terrible puns. After getting its start in Indianapolis, the band is re-igniting the flame in Phoenix, AZ, and booking 2027 shows in Phoenix and surrounding areas. LONG BIO Pretty With The Lights Out is not a normal band. Nate Laff writes, records and produces everything in the studio, and a cast of hired guns brings it to the stage as a three-piece. When the full band can't make it, Nate plays an acoustic set that keeps the energy high. The debut EP, Pumpkin Spice Formaldehyde, arrived on March 10, 2023 via We Are Horror Records and earned a 9/10 from Grave Noise. At the Punk Rock Night Awards, the band was nominated for Best Horror Act in 2024 and 2025, plus Best New Band and Best Local Release (Pumpkin Spice Formaldehyde) in 2024. The sold-out CD was re-released as the Deluxe Cold Brew Edition with two bonus tracks, Zeke The Plumber and 867-5309 / Jenny, followed by a 12" vinyl in 2025. The band's horrorpunk take on Down, Down to Goblin Town from the 1977 Rankin/Bass The Hobbit is its most-watched video. Live, Pretty With The Lights Out has shared stages with Cancerslug, Supersuckers, The Rumours, Graverobber and more. Its fan club, the Jack-o'-Lantern Social Club, started life as the band's first single. In 2026 the band is relocating from Indianapolis to Phoenix, AZ, and is now booking 2027 dates in Phoenix and surrounding areas. PRESS "Pretty With the Lights Out come screaming out of the darkness."
